Information on how to set up PledgeStar, Fun Run details, and prize information are below!

Set Up PledgeStar for Your Runner(s)!

Our Hiteon Fun Run will take place on May 5th, so now is the perfect time to get registered and start preparing! We’re using an awesome web-based fundraising system that makes it easy to request pledges from family and friends, while allowing them to make secure credit card donations online. It’s fun, it’s easy, and people who use it typically raise twice as much as those who don’t!

Please register now and start reaching out to your family and friends. Together, we can help our school raise as much as possible to support teachers directly, class events, Spring Carnival, Culture Night, Bingo Night, the Science Fair, and many other activities. Mark your calendar for May 5th and get ready to move!

  1. Go to pledgestar.com/hiteon
  2. Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”
  3. Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”
  4. Follow the instructions on-screen to register Runner(s) and add family and friends

  1. Search your app store for “PledgeStar”
  2. On the home screen enter event code: hiteon
  3. Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”
  4. Enter your name and email, click “Submit,” then follow the on-screen instructions

When you finish, the system emails pledge requests to your family and friends, and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made, and you can track your pledge progress online.

Fun run details

  • Set up your PledgeStar account to collect pledges from your friends and family.
  • Come to school, ready to run! We will be running outside rain or shine. If on the day of the event it is not very nice outside, please pack an extra set of clothing and shoes for your child to change into.
  • HAVE FUN! Run your laps with your grade. You will be running for 17 minutes so pace yourselves and have a great race.
  • Winners will be announced and prizes distributed at the Prize Assembly
  • Check out the leaderboard to see which class is in 1st place!
LEADERBOARD
No Lap Counting: We have contracted with Uberthons to electronically tally students’ laps for us this year. This will help ensure accuracy and free up our Volunteers to help in other areas. Volunteers Needed: We need many volunteers to pull off this event and hit our fundraising goal of $50,000. Please log into the Raptor Volunteer Portal and sign up for a shift.
