Hiteon Book Fair is October 5 – 8, 2026!

STUDENTS

What’s easier than carrying cash and won’t get lost or misplaced? An eWallet! Set up an eWallet for your student today and make shopping the book fair even easier. Login to the Hiteon Book Fair site, create a new eWallet for each of your students, load your funds to the eWallet and you’re done! We’ll have the eWallet ready at the Book Fair and any unused balances will remain on your Scholastic account to be used on any future book purchases.

Plus! Students with eWallets will be automatically eligible for a prize at the Hiteon Book Fair!

BOOK FAIR FAQ

It’s an easy way to give your student money to spend at the Book Fair without worrying about lost cash or coins. Sign in or create your Scholastic account, set up an e-wallet for each child, add funds, and that’s it — your student will be ready to shop when their class visits the Book Fair, and e-wallet slips will be ready and waiting for them. Any unused funds stay on the account and can be used to shop online anytime.

Yes — a new e-wallet has to be created every year, but it’s quick, and any balance left from last year’s fair can be transferred into the new one easily.

 

Yes! Any funds left in your student’s e-wallet from last year were automatically transferred to a gift card balance on your Scholastic account. When you create your new e-wallet, you can use that gift card balance to fund it.

You can! If you’d like to donate funds so a teacher can buy books for their classroom, each teacher has their own classroom e-wallet. Visit hiteonptc.org/bookfair and use the dropdown to select your student’s class and teacher.

Yes! Your student won’t lose cash or coins, and all students who shop the Hiteon Book Fair with an e-wallet this year will receive a prize.

Every year we’re asked, “How do you make sure every Hiteon student who wants a book gets one?” The answer is Share the Fair! It’s a community e-wallet that lets Hiteon families donate funds during the e-wallet setup process. Donations are used to purchase books during the Book Fair for students who may need a little extra support. Thank you for helping make the Book Fair special for every Hiteon student!

volunteering

There are volunteer shifts available! If you have time during Book Fair week and want to see what the Book Fair is about, join us as a volunteer. All volunteers must be approved in Raptor to volunteer. If you have not filled out an application already, please do so on BSD’s Volunteer Portal.
